JUBILEE

Adieu to parent
Farewell to youth
As liege is made and Princess makes Queen

Nations heed the Head
No longer Empire armed in Dread
Collect of peoples, Collect of old
Commonwealth of nations told

Tradition in peers and powers old
Granted Reign,People Rule
Averting decree,
Assent anew

This fair Elizabeth
like the Golden Age
Tho Deuxieme in very name
The Inspiration is the same

As constant as Thames, her kingdom fair
Adorns the Adorned, a model Queen
Tradition breathes as country air
The Kingdom known as well as seen

For sixty years her country's monarch,
Her life with theirs a Royal bridge
The times in passing as they fade
Give Elizabeth a gilded glade

Of history's sun, a bright moment
In human times of which she wrent

In celebration of the Reina,
As too the reign

Long Live!
