Smart-Phone Glitches Metro PCS

Periodically this blogger like all mortals, has a glitch with a very reliable wi-fi equipped super phone. This happened yesterday with the LG OPTIMUS M-960 served with MetroPCS. As many know Metro PCS(MPCS) has a very good pre-paid service for their logo carrying brand of pre-paid phone & many wifi equipped Android phones. This short note addresses he Android phone noted above. Last night, after prime time evening news, the phone's wi-fi stopped. This has happened once in a while and was fixed with patience, trouble shooting or factory settings reset if the reset does it for you save your pictures etcetera with the SD chip or by file transfer, then that's that. It's & OK. A few of the glitches-possibly virus like: *Your phone's wifi and mobile network disappear * The wifi is constantly scanning and cannot get to your accustomed server from the regular use list *The wifi won't display its accessed option on the fone screen or status bar * The inside security MAC number is unavailable for display Whether these occur by attempted snatch of your programmed phone service or some other interference these tips can help. *Turn the phone off and on *Check your wifi connection & its router *Re-enter your WPA security login & password * See if wifi is turned on by manual option * See if your data service option (with Metro PCS unlimited is activated * Check the "data when roaming option" * Make sure the mobile network is turned on with the home service or its "automatic server" for sub-contractual service * Check & verify that the MPCS WiFi network is connected-when off (even by glitch) it will bar the wifi option from operating *Check that the MAC number under phone privacy or status is visible (displayed on that topic list)--(Many of us filter the wifi access to the router by MAC number) *Lastly, if you do a factory reset, you'll have to reload your APPS - except those supplied by the server on start-up
