"Cheese Reporter" .. .trade press for the dairy industry - reprts whole milk at $3.30 per gallon average nationwide. last week -West Springfield, Massachsetts 'Big Y Food Stores" - $3.00 for 2 half gallons ... this week about $4.29 a gallon ... but by shopping around - same town -West Springfield "Price Rite Food Stores" -- $2.49 a gallon for whole, 2% or 1 % milk. |
