Iraq Timetable?

Iraq Timetable?

Calculating a specific timetable for US withdrawal from Iraq is a bad idea. Frankly, and by common sense - it gives the insurgent enemy an advantage in time and planning. My ancestors fought the British in the Ameican Revolution . . and anyone with that knowledge of history knows what specific knowledge can do in either hands. American resistance at Bunker Hill worked well becasue the British did not know the American withdrawal plan at the time the began their last assult. The Americans massively attacked and tactically retreated - yielding but killing scores more British. What an advantage the British would have had if they had known the exact retreat time.
Yes it works both ways -- the International Coalition with the Iraqi Government and the insurgents both benefit by exactness of timetable.

Let America know, that the burden will assumed by Iraq soon enough; and that generally the USA will negotiate a bilateral force agreement with Iraq .. and spend sufficient time and resource as both agree to protect the new Iraq.

Let America know also that Iraqis will fight to conserve and preserve new re-nationhood, saving changes of state for peaceful ballotting and convention processes. And will Iraqis fight for it? Yes, I believe so .. and would commend Iraqi womanhood - the whole force of them - to divorce their Iraqi manhood if they do not! As in ancient times - send the men away and systemically refuse them, even by force.

Inform the US Senate for accountability, and align & confer the civilian guidance to good martial professional action as befits that mission.
