Mission Accomplishd But No WIn Planned for Arghanistan

President Obama's beef-up of US forces in Afghanistan with other UN allies is a stand-alone assist to an old nation; which long needed this abutment to modern nation building. Unlike "old soviet generals" .. there will be no win needed in Afghnistan. There will be a stay and plant of constitutionalism with national structuring and a national armed force, as in Iraq. There will be a national government by popular will and the help of the United Nations.

The plan will be rather like that of General Thompson in Malaysia than Americans in Vietnam. Leopard spots will not emerge, attackd by jungle guerillas as in Vietnam, to foil or spur urbanization of the population into safety corrals. Afghanistan will sustain herself with cities towns, and agrarian rural areawith a natural national interlocked estate of safety and proud singular existence.
